I never had a festive birthday celebration on the exact date of my birthday. This is because first week of March has been always the finals week so I had to study before thinking about partying hard. And it unconsciously made me tradition a to celebrate my birthday twice (on the exact date of my birth which is a simple celebration, and a grand party after the finals week). So in line with my so-called tradition, I just had a small celebration with my family on my birthday, since I'm still busy doing my very last school project due this week.
Lumpia with frozen 'pinakurat' (vinegar)
Bulalo Steak?
I forgot what this is.
Mini-Cake! Ice-cream/cassava/white chocolate
Got a Melissa Beach slippers from my sister!
I told my sister to dine at a shrimp expert resto. But since our tastes are already jaded for Bubba Gump, she decided to bring me to something Filipino-ish. So we had our lunch at Chef Laudico at Taguig, where Filipino dishes have their own twists. The best dish was the sinigang with mashed raddish. Too bad I forgot to take a picture of it since I was so excited to eat.
After the sumptuous and tummy-inflating lunch, we stopped over Serenitea to kill the calories we consumed.
Last Stop! Visited my sister's house where I Met Noisy Boy! (Chihuahua/Minipincher)
I'm still thinking what to do for my 'grand party'. Yes, It'll be definitely 'grand' as I'll be celebrating my graduation thanksgiving as well. I'll keep you posted!
