You always see me walking down the streets or strolling in the mall hallways wearing a shirt with a face printed on it and embellished with a ribbon on top. This is because I am actually not a dress person. I only own few sets of dress just because I am more comfortable spending the rest of the day with shirt and short shorts, skirt or leggings. I have a preppy personality yet there's a T-shirt kind of attitude growing inside me. Hence, to simply solve this personality issue, I have to find some 'girly' shirts to feed both my preppy and outgoing persona.
Two years ago, I got so interested with vintage graphic tees until now that I actually realize my closet already houses a vast collection of these items. It all started in April 2010 when Zara released a Lady Gaga shirt collection that had driven me so crazy. Until then, graphic tees has become the frontliner items of Zara TRF that made me even look forward to have one every week.
From animal faces, to random women, to famous pop icons, these tees offer a very comfortable everyday wear without sacrificing your fashionable look. No wonder this has been my favorite outfit during Saturday classes, when I have no time to look stunning, yet still avoiding to look crap among your fab classmates. Just pair it with your metallic leggings or favorite skinny jeans and flats, you already have a statement!
I consider vintage graphic tees as fashion saver. It's actually a plain shirt but fahsionable in a way. This is great for people who are not in the mood to dress up like a boss. Plus, it's versatile in nature. Wear it with a blazer and you can achieve a smart casual look. Wear it with your favorite maxi skirt and you will have safe semi-formal attire. You can mix and match it with different items to come up with different looks. It's the safest clothing item every girl's closet should have.
Since Zara TRF tees are too costly, I have to search for some alternatives to grow my collection. I consider Market Market for having the best graphic tees as Zara's
