Evident in the name itself, Lime Crime lipsticks provide opaque, bright and full coverage on lips when applied. Great for standalone makeups when you have no time (or right mood) to apply full makeup and yet want to still have a pop of color on their face. Since I'm a big fan of statement lip colors, I have unconsciously grown a collection since I bought my first shade in early 2012.
Buying a shade from this line might draw you into hesitation since it portrays bizarre models since they market cosplayers and lolita girls because of its mysterious nature of color and texture. However, I highly recommend this to rookie makeup buffs who still not have enough guts to showcase their newly acquired talents in contouring eyes, yet wanting really bad to look edgy even without eyeshadows. So forget about those bizarre models and rest assured you won't look as flamboyant as those models are.
Quality and Packaging
The Unicorn marks frontliner of this brand because of its mysterious nature, just like the animal itself. And having this cute, barbie-ish magenta shade of packaging, it surely stands out among the items in your makeup kit. It feels like you own the finest lipstain fit for a royal queen of magic!
All colors have a vanilla scent that every girl should love. It's like beautifying you inside and out with both bright colors and a touch of zen, sweet scent. Since I started collecting four shades (My Beautiful Rocket, Cosmopop, Coquette, Countessa Fluorescent), I noticed the strong opaque characteristics that make them last on your lips for a long time. Great for attending all-night long parties, drinking and even when swimming, if you don't want to look pale with your neon swimsuits. No wonder I have become bestfriends with Lime Crime for just less than a year!
Cons

Where to Buy?
Visit www.limecrimemakeup.com to order one and they ship worldwide. However, if you settle in the Philippines, The Balikbayan Box Sale sells Lime Crime goodies for only 750 PHP and a free shipping fee most of the time! I tried to wander in Sasa and Sephora in both Hong Kong and Singapore and they don't even know about this brand. So everytime I take my magic magenta bullet out of my kit, everyone's just so amazed, wondering where in the world I have gotten it, and I say...
It's makeup for criminals... so bright it's illegal.
MORE REVIEWS OF EACH OF LIME CRIME PRODUCTS ARE COMING UP! STAY TUNED.
