I am a Helvetica! WHAT FONT ARE YOU?

We are currently in the process of putting up an exhibit to raise awareness regarding the Hildegarde Awards, one of the major events in our school that gives special citations to the Filipinos who have contributed a big part in uplifting women and gender sensitivity in media. As one of the layout heads in our team, my media events management professor advised me to consider Helvetica as the official font for the entire exhibit.  So I disseminated the message to my teammates regarding the official font.

Helvetica is the default font used in Mac OS and unfortunately, it is not available in Windows. Since most of the team are not "Macsters" I had to search for downloadable Helvetica fonts for them through the internet. While I was going through the sites, I encountered a mini-quiz determining "the font that best suites your personality". I eventually remembered the one-hour long documentary about this Helvetica font that discussed its history, structures, etc. (Yes, this font has a documentary. A... one -hour long documentary.) One notable quote in the docu was "Type is saying things to us all the time. Typefaces expresses a mood, an atmosphere". Therefore, fonts can merely reflect our personality. Out of curiosity, I entered the quiz and answered some  personality-based questions.

And yes! I'm truly a Helvetica! A classic, reliable, boring (haha) and the BEST (according to my friends)! Though I'm not a solid Helvetica user, I seem to like using sleek fonts in my layouts such as the Century Gothic. But if I were to choose, I would rather stick with Helvetica than with Windows default font Arial who copied the style of Helvetica (accdg to the documentary).

HOW ABOUT YOU? What font are you? Check it out!
