The Sweetest Taste of Chocolate Hills

Talking about Bohol getaway, you can never take Chocolate Hills away from your must-visit list. It has been the flagship tourist spots for Bohol Province, and one of the major destinations in the country. Located in Carmen, Bohol, almost 2 hours away from Tagbilaran proper. Sounds a quite long drive, but it's indeed worth the long travel. It has about 1,776 hills of at least 20 sq. mi. per hill. It was named Chocolate Hills as the grass are dried up during summer season, making them look like Chocolate Kisses.

When you arrived at the area, you have to pay 50 PHP for the maintenance fees. You have to prepare your thighs as you will have to climb at least 200 steps for you to catch the best view of the hills.

You have to climb almost 200 steps to taste sweetest view!

The view WITHOUT climbing up the 200 steps. Not so chocolatey! Clmbing up is highly recommended.

But for physically challenged tourist, there are services you can avail to bring you to the best view up there. Relax!

At last! I got the SWEETEST VIEW!

Photo opportunities are available for a fee. A photographer will direct you accordingly to grab your best shot with the spot. But if you have a good camera (and a good angle), you need not to hire a photographer anymore.

Ring the bell after wishing!

MY HUMPS, more fun in the Philippines!

And as for my  spicy verdict, it's definitely a HOT spot for me. It is a one of a kind place for everyone to see, and we have to be proud it's our very own Chocolate Hills! Did I even forget to mention that it's included in the UNESCO World Heritage List! It's something we should be proud of isn't it?

Always,
